  1. Sieve the plain flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and baking soda together in a deep bowl and keep aside.
  2. Combine the butter and sugar in a deep bowl and mix it well using a spatula.
  3. Add ¼ cup of curds and the half the sieved plain flour-cocoa powder mixture and mix it gently with the help of a spatula.
  4. Add the remaining ¼ cup of curds and the remaining sieved plain flour-cocoa powder mixture and again mix it gently with the help of a spatula.
  5. Grease all the muffin moulds using a little melted butter and dust them very well using little plain flour.
  6. Pour 2 tbsp of the prepared batter in each mould, place a chocolate cube and cover it with another 2 tbsp of batter. Tap each mould properly to make sure that no air remains.
  7. Bake the muffins in a pre-heated oven at 200°c (400°f) for 20 to 22 minutes.
  8. Remove from the oven, keep aside to cool slightly and de-mould it.
  9. Serve warm or store in an air-tight container.

   As the chocolate used in this recipe is dark and cocoa powder is also used, it will be little bitter, if you wish you can use milk chocolate

What can i say about this muffin..It was just a complete treat..The best part was, it was a bit gooey from inside and that felt like heaven..Will surely make it again..
