Ingredients

1 1/2 cups moong (whole green gram) sprouts (preferably sprouted for 2 days to give nice juicy big sprouts)
1 cup chopped apple
1/2 cup chopped cucumber
1/4 cup pomegranate (anar)
1/4 cup chopped figs (anjeer)
2 tbsp grated carrot
2 tbsp roasted flax seeds
1 tbsp chopped walnuts (akhrot) (optional)
1 tsp oil
a pinch of turmeric powder (haldi)
salt to taste
chaat masala to taste

Method
    Method
  1. Heat the oil in pan. Add turmeric and moong sprouts. Saute for 2 mins. Add salt and remove from the flame.
  2. Remove the moong sprouts in vessel. Sprinkle few drops of water. Pressure cook moong sprouts for 1 whistle. Do not over cook.
  3. Take this parboiled sprouts in broad vessel. Add apple, cucumber, pomegranate, fresh fig, flaxseeds. Mix well. Add chat masala to taste.
  4. Garnish with coriander, walnut and carrot.
  5. It is ready to serve.

  1. - Fruit juice (specially with combination of peach, plum pineapple)
  2. - Herbal masala milk (using tulsi, cardamon, dry fruits and kesar)
