Method

  1. Grease 2 baking trays and ser
  2. Aside.
  3. Put the syrup,butter,and caster sugar into a pan and
  4. Melt it over low heat.
  5. Remove the pan from the heat
  6. And stir in the dry ingredients.
  7. Dissolve the bicarbonate of
  8. Soda in a bowl into one table
  9. Spoon of hot water.
  10. Add to the other ingredients
  11. And leave to cool,for a few
  12. Minutes.
  13. Divide into 30 portions,roll
  14. Into balls and place on the
  15. Baking trays,leaving enough
  16. Room between each of them.
  17. Bake them in a pre-heated oven
  18. 335(f)gas mark-3 for about
  19. 20minutes until the biscuits
  20. Are golden brown.
  21. Take them out of oven and cool
  22. On a wire tray.
  23. Spoon
