Ingredients

1 1/4 cups chopped dark chocolate
1/2 cup milk
1 cup fresh bread crumbs
2 tbsp butter , softened
1 tbsp powdered sugar
1/2 cup condensed milk
1/2 tsp vanilla essence
1/4 cup chopped walnuts (akhrot)

    Method
  1. Melt the dark chocolate and milk over gentle heat and mix well so that no lumps remain.
  2. Add the bread crumbs to it. Mix well and keep aside.
  3. Cream the butter and sugar in a bowl till light and fluffy.
  4. Add the condensed milk, vanilla essence, walnuts and dark chocolate mixture and mix well.
  5. Pour this into a 150 mm. (6") diameter greased cake tin.
  6. Place the tin on the plate and steam the cake using a pressure cooker without the whistle and steam for 20 to 25 minutes on high flame or till done.
  7. Allow the steam to escape before opening the lid.

  1. To make soft bread crumbs,remove the crust of fresh bread slices and blend in a mixer to a fine powder.
