Ingredients
Method

  1. Cover oven trays with aluminium foil & mark 2inch circles on foil with cutter.
  2. Grease foil lightly.
  3. Toast almonds for 5 mins until brown in colour.
  4. Place sugar, water and butter into pan stir over low heat until sugar has dissolved & butter has melted.
  5. Boil uncovered for 8 mins or until dark golden brown.
  6. Remove from heat immediately & add almonds all at once.
  7. Stir to combine.do not overstir or mixture will turn sugary.
  8. Working quickly,place tbsps of mixture on the circles pressing out to edge of circle with back of spoon.
  9. If mixture is too thick,return to heat for a few seconds.
  10. Place chopped chocolate over double saucepan,stir over simmering water until melted.
  11. Cool slightly.
  12. Turn biscuits over to flat side.spoon a tsp of chocolate on to flat side and spread out to edge.
  13. When the chocolate has set,run a fork through the chocolate to give wavy effect.
