Ingredients


1 whole sliced bread
1 cup potato cubes
1 cup carrot cubes
3/4 cup green peas
1 tsp each of ginger-garlic (adrak-lehsun) paste
little oil for vegetable and for frying
salt to taste
1 tsp chilli powder
1/2 tsp rye
1 tsp coriander-cumin seeds (dhania-jeera) powder
1 cup besan (Bengal gram flour)

BATTER
besan (Bengal gram flour)
salt to taste
chilli powder
water to make thick batter

Method

  1. Put little oil in a pan.
  2. Add rai.
  3. Then add all the masalas.
  4. Stir and then add all the vegtables.
  5. Add a little water.
  6. Cook until soft.
  7. Then mash these veg with back of the spoon.
  8. Cut the top of the bread,and flatten on a board.
  9. Spread mashed veg on the slice.
  10. Roll it slowly.
  11. Seal with water and fry in hot oil, coating with gram flour.
