2 cups bajra (black millet) four
2 tbsp ghee
1 cup finely chopped jaggery (gur)
1/2 tsp cardamom (elaichi) powder

For The Garnish
4 to 5 chopped almonds (badam)

  1. Knead a soft dough from the bajra flour.
  2. Make two chapattis and cook them well.
  3. Crumble the chapattis into a fine powder in the mixer.
  4. Roast the powder in a non - stick pan(kadai) for five minutes.
  5. Heat the ghee and add the the jaggery and cardamom powder.
  6. When the jaggery melts add the fine bajra powder and mix well.
  7. Roll into six balls.
  8. Garnish with almonds and serve.
