1/2 cup broccoli florets
3 tbsp lemon juice
1 cup pineapple juice
2 cups chilled soda
1/2 tsp lemon zest
a pinch of salt
3 tsp sugar
a few lemon slices for garnishing
some ice cubes

  1. Clean and blanch the broccoli florets in a cup of water till tender. Strain and wash under cold water.
  2. Blend the florets in a mixer till smooth.
  3. Add the lemon juice , pineapple juice , sugar and salt and mix well.
  4. Pour equal quantity of broccoli mixture in four stemmed glasses.
  5. Top each glass with chilled soda, lemon zest and ice cubes.
  6. Place sliced lemon on the rim of the glass and serve chilled.
