  1. Heat the oil in a broad non-stick pan, add the cumin seeds and sauté on a medium flame for 30 seconds.
  2. Add the green chillies and sauté on a medium flame for 30 seconds.
  3. Add the cabbage, turmeric powder and salt, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 1 to 2 minutes, while stirring occasionally.
  4. Add the coconut, coriander and 2 tbsp of water, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 1 to 2 minutes, while stirring occasionally.
  5. Serve immediately.

such a simple and unique dish and quick to make! i have it with roti because we gujaratis also eat a similar subzi.
