Hi.. Is it ok to replace khoya and sugar with condensed milk.. If yes what''s the quantity of condensed milk required? Does the bowl need to be covered during the microwaving process? What''s the quantity of carrots (in Kg) used in the above recipe?

You can use the below recipe which is without mava and instead of sugar you can try making with condensed milk. https://www.tarladalal.com/Quick-Gajar-ka-Halwa-Carrot-Halwa-Without-Mawa-1749r

Please don''t post recipe if you have not made it yourself. You have no clue how to make gajar halwa in microwave. DO NOT add milk even if Tarla Dalal says so. It is a nightmare to vaporize all the liquid. Carrots have their own moisture and its enough to cook them. Add more milk powder if you want it to be creamy.

Hi, Thank you for your suggestion ... There is no need to add milk powder as it doesnt taste very nice in this recipe, 15 minutes is not very long to cook a gajar ka halwa in a microwave..
