Cheesy Munch recipe - How to make Cheesy Munch

Preparation Time:    Cooking Time:    Total Time:     Makes 4 servings


For The Dough
2 cups plain flour (maida)
1/2 cup milk
1 tsp sugar
4 tsp oil
1 tbsp dry yeast
salt to taste

Other Ingredients
dry flour for dusting and rolling
oil for greasing

For The Stuffing
1 cup of chopped mixed vegetables
1 tsp oil
1 tsp butter
2 tbsp tomato ketchup
1 tbsp chilli sauce
1 tsp dried mixed herbs
1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper (kalimirch)
2 grated cheese cubes

  1. Combine the milk, sugar,pinch of salt and 1 tsp oil along with yeast, mix well and keep aside for 10 min.
  2. It double in size, add this to maida, salt and the remaining oil, mix well and knead into a soft dough using enough water.
  3. Grease dough with oil and dust dry flour on the dough.
  4. Cover this with wet cloth and keep inside the oven for proofing for 4 hrs.
  5. It double in size after proofing.
  6. For Stuffing part, heat oil and butter.
  7. When butter start melting add chopped veggies and saute for 1 min.
  8. Add all rest ingredients to this except cheese.
  9. Cool down the stuff.
  10. Now remove the dough after proofing and make dumplings out of this.
  11. Dust with dry flour n roll it. Place the stuffing at one end.
  12. Grate half of cheese on stuffing and roll it.
  13. Now cut into 1 inch thickness roundel.
  14. Now attach aluminium foil on baking tray n grease it with oil.
  15. Place these roundels on the tray and keep inside oven for 1 hour again for proofing.
  16. It again double in size.
  17. Now remove tray and again preheat oven for 10 min at 200 degree.
  18. Bake the roundels for 7 min, then grate rest cheese on the roundels n bake for 5 min.
  19. Sprinkle mixed herb on it n serve this cheesy munch...
