1 cup plain flour (maida)
2 tbsp semolina (rava)
1 tbsp cornflour
2 tbsp oil
salt to taste
a few drops of lemon juice

To Be Mixed Together For The Stuffing
1/2 cup grated paneer (cottage cheese)
1/2 cup grated processed cheese
1/4 cup finely chopped onions
1 tbsp ginger-green chilli paste
salt to taste
1 tsp garam masala
1/2 tsp chaat masala
oil for deep frying

  1. Combine all the ingredients and knead into a soft dough, using enough water, and keep aside for 10 minutes.
  2. Divide the dough into 14 equal portions and roll out into a circle of 3" diameter and keep aside.

  2. Place a portion of the stuffing in one roti in the center, make 3-4 cuts in the side and fold it alternative over the stuffing like hair plate.
  3. Make a bow using the dough strips and stick to the end of samosa.
  4. Repeat the same to make more such samosas.
  5. Heat the oil in a kadhai and deep fry the samosas till they turn golden brown and crisp from all the sides.
  6. Serve hot.
