Ingredients

2 cups rice (chawal) , soaked for 30 minutes
2 tbsp finely chopped garlic (lehsun)
2 onions , chopped
1/2 cup chopped mixed vegetables
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp vinegar mixed with pinch of sugar
3 slit green chillies
1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper powder
salt to taste
chopped spring onion greens for garnishing

Method
    Method
  1. Pressure cook the rice along with salt and water for 2 whistles or till cooked. Keep aside.
  2. Heat a non-stick pan, add the garlic and saute till it turns golden brown.
  3. Add the onions and saute till the onion turns translucent.
  4. Add the green chillies, vegetables and salt, mix well and stir fry on high flame for 1-2 minutes.
  5. Add the rice and soya sauce, vinegar and mix gently and stir fry on high flame for 3-4 minutes.
  6. Serve hot garnished with spring onion greens.
