Ingredients

1 vanilla sponge cake (7")

For The Choco Truffle
1 cup dark chocolate
1/2 cup cream

Other Ingredients
1 cup sugar syrup
3 tbsp strawberry crush
brown sugar
1 cup fresh sliced strawberries
2 cups whipped cream

For Garnishing
edible silver balls
white and dark chocolate curls

Method

  1. Melt the dark chocolate in a microwave for 30 seconds.
  2. Add the cream and mix well and keep aside.

  1. Take the vanilla sponge and slice to 3 layers.
  2. Take the bottom layer and soak with sugar solution.
  3. Apply the strawberry crush and spread the prepared truffle.
  4. Sprinkle some brown sugar and top with the second slice.
  5. Soak the second slice with sugar solution and apply strawberry crush.
  6. Spread the prepared truffle and sprinkle some brown sugar.
  7. Now place the third layer and soak with sugar solution.
  8. Now mix the truffle with the whipped cream roughly to give the marble effect.
  9. Cover the cake completely from top and on all the sides properly.
  10. Arrange the fresh strawberry slices towards edge on the top of the cake to form a circle.
  11. Spread the dark and white chocolate curls in the centre.
  12. Sprinkle the silver balls on the cake.
  13. Make the border with a piping bag fitted with a star nozzle and filled with whipped cream.
  14. Serve the delicious cake on special occasions.
