Crunchy Jalebis recipe - How to make Crunchy Jalebis

1 cup self raising flour
2 pinch yellow food colour
1 tsp powdered cardamoms

For The Sugar Syrup
1 cup sugar
1 cup water
1 tsp rose water

  1. Combine the sugar and water in a deep pan, mix well and bring to boil and simmer till the syrup becoimes thick and of one string consistency.
  2. Keep aside to cool.
  3. Combine the flour with remaining ingredients and mix well.
  4. Add enough cols water to make a thick batter.
  5. Pour the batter in jalebi moulds and heat the oil the broad flat pan.
  6. Make round jalebis using mould and deep fry till they turn golden brown and crisp.
  7. Drain and transfer ot the syrup and soak for 3 minutes.
  8. Serve hot,.
