400 ml milk
1/4 cup cooked rice
1 tbsp custard powder dissolved in 1 cup milk
4 tbsp sugar
1/4 cup chopped apple
1/4 tsp cinnamon (dalchini) powder
2 tbsp chopped chickoo

For The Garnish
a few saffron (kesar) strands strands
1 tbsp blanched and sliced almonds (badam)

  1. In a deep pan, bring milk to boil.
  2. Add the sugar, rice, custard powder mixture, mix well and cook while stirring continuously, making sure the milk does not becomes thick.
  3. Add the fruits and cinnamon powder and mix well.
  4. Garnish with saffron and almonds.
  5. Serve hot or chilled.
