Daal panchvati brings forth an innovative dal recipe which takes you away from the regular lentil recipes. The dal panchvati has the perfect medley of five different dals namely, chana, urad, moong, masoor and tuar and these dals are cooked with spice powders, ginger garlic paste and chopped tomatoes.

Method


  1. Soak all the daal for 1/2 an hour
  2. Heat ghee add
  3. Jera fry onion till pink add daal and saute for 5 min add 2/12 of water
  4. Add haldi and salt and pressure cook for 4 vessel.
  5. Now add fennel powder now prepare tarka heat ghee add tomatoes,chilli powder yougurt chilli powder dhaniya powder garam masala
  6. Saute for 5 min.
  7. Grnish with hara dhaniya

This recipe looks amazing but how do I measure 50gms? Isnt it easier to use a measuring vessel eg cup?
