10 dates (khajur) , deseeded and finely chopped
2 cups roughly chopped apples (unpeeled)
2 cups chilled low-fat milk , 99.7% fat-free
a few drops of vanilla essence

  1. Combine all the ingredients and blend in a mixer till smooth and frothy.
  2. Pour equal quantities of the shake into 4 individual glasses and serve immediately.
