  1. Boil the potatoes, peel and prick all over with a fork. Keep aside.
  2. Combine the masalas and salt along with the curds in a bowl and mix well.
  3. Add the potatoes, mix well and keep aside for an hour.
  4. Heat the oil in a kadhai, add the potatoes and 1/2 cup of water and mix well.
  5. Cover and cook on a slow flame till the potatoes are well coated with the masala.
  6. Serve hot garnished with coriander.

This is a good variation of the recipe I used to make, it was tasty an also a little less spicy. My friends liked it with steaming rice but I had it with roomali roti.
