This is a total energetic paratha as it contains all the essential nutrients.Here in this paratha I have tried to cover all the essential nutrients for the day so that the required quantity of the nutrients are fulfilled with these parathas.In all it is wholesome meal covering iron,calcium,fats,carbohydrates,protiens,vitamins and minerals like phosphorus for the healthy growth.It is very good for pregnant ladies,growing children and for the ladies at the menopause stage.So enjoy these parathas in this winter

Energetic Paratha recipe - How to make Energetic Paratha

Ingredients

For The Dough
1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
2 tbsp soya flour
1/4 cup besan (bengal gram flour)
1/4 cup chopped fenugreek
1/4 cup chopped spinach (palak)
2 tbsp oil
salt to taste
water for binding the dough

For The Stuffing
2 tbsp grated beetroot
2 tbsp grated carrot
2 tbsp boiled and grated potatoes
2 tbsp grated onions
2 tbsp grated cauliflower
2 tbsp finely chopped and boiled french beans
2 tbsp boiled and coarsely crushed green peas
2 tbsp chopped coriander (dhania)
1/4 cup grated processed cheese
1/4 cup grated paneer (cottage cheese)
salt to taste
1 1/2 tsp garam masala
2 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
2 tsp green chilli paste
1 tsp sugar
2 tbsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp chaat masala
rice flour (chawal ka atta) for rolling
ghee for shallow frying the parathas

For Garnishing
2 tbsp sesame seeds (til)
Method

  1. Combine all the ingredients and bind a soft dough using enough water and keep aside.

For the stuffing

  1. Combine well all the ingredients and keep aside.
  2. Now take lemon sized balls of the dough and knead to a puri sized roti.
  3. Then place 1-1 1/2 tbsp of stuffing on the roti and cover from all sides like kachori.
  4. Now take rice flour for rolling and roll again to a paratha.
  5. Sprinkle sesame seeds on the top and roll again so that sesame seeds stick properly.
  6. Now apply ghee on a hot tawa and shallow fry the paratha till golden brown.
  7. Repeat to make 8 more parathas and serve hot with masala dahi.
