Ingredients

1/2 cup warm water (100 to 110oF)
2 packages FLEISCHMANN'S Active Dry yeast
1/2 cup warm milk (100 to 110oF)
1/2 cup butter or margarine , softened
2 tbsp sugar
1 tsp salt
4 cups plain flour (maida)
2 large sized eggs
1 egg, slightly beaten with 1 tablespoon water
1/4 cup sugar
1 cup chopped almonds (badam)

    Directions
  1. Place warm water in large warm bowl.
  2. Sprinkle in yeast; stir until dissolved.
  3. Add warm milk, butter, 2 tablespoons sugar, salt, and 2 cups flour.
  4. Beat 2 minutes at medium speed of electric mixer.
  5. Add 2 eggs and 1/2 cup flour.
  6. Beat 2 minutes at high speed, scraping bowl occasionally.
  7. Stir in enough remaining flour to make soft dough.
  8. Knead on lightl punch dough down;
  9. Turn out onto lightly floured surface.
  10. Divide dough in 24 equal pieces.
  11. Shape each piece into smooth balls.
  12. Place in greased 2 1/2-inch muffin cups.
  13. Cover; let rise in warm, draft-free place until doubled in size, about 30 minutes
  14. Brush top with egg mixture.
  15. Sprinkle 1/4 cup sugar and almonds over top.
  16. Bake at 375of for 20 minutes
