Ingredients

3 to 3 1/2 cups plain flour (maida)
1/4 cup sugar
1 package FLEISCHMANN'S Rapid Rise yeast
1 tsp salt
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1/2 cup chopped almonds (badam) or chopped pecans , toasted
1 cup mixed nuts
cranberries, cherries, blueberries or
chopped dried apricots
powdered sugar

    Directions
  1. In large bowl, combine 1 1/2 cups flour, sugar, undissolved yeast and salt. heat milk, water and butter until very warm (120 to 130of); butter does not need to melt.
  2. Stir into dry ingredients. stir in almonds, dried fruits and enough remaining flour to make soft dough.
  3. Knead on lightly floured surface until smooth and elastic, about 4 to 6 minutes.
  4. Roll or press dough to 12-inch circle;
  5. Place on greased pizza pan or large baking sheet. cover; let rise in warm, draft-free place until almost doubled in size, about 15 to 30 minutes.
  6. Bake at 400of for 15 to 20 minutes or until done.
  7. Remove from pan; cool on wire rack.
  8. To serve, sift powdered sugar lightly over top; cut into 12 wedges.
