A delicious pudding made in layers by putting bread soared in milk and fruit pulp and leftover rice over it.

1/2 cup mango pulp or orange
1 tsp sugar
1 pinch of cardamom (elaichi) powder
1 drop of vanilla essence (optional)
2 to 3 tbsp leftover cooked rice
1 slice of bread
2 tbsp condensed milk


  1. Prepare coarse pulp from any desired fruit (mango, banana, chickoo, papaya) by just mashing with fork.
  2. Use a transparent small bowl so kids can see the layers. place slice of bread at bottom (remove crust keep aside) sprinkle the milk over it. mix together rice, pulp, sugar, cardamom. pour over breadslice, set in fridge to chill.
  3. Make crumbs of crust, sprinkle over mixture. serve chilled on a hot summer afternoon.
