A popular and all time favorite vegetable recipe, the authentic hyderabadi mirchi salan is presented in a simple and easy to prepare steps. The mirchi or green chillies are stuffed, deep fried and then cooked with onion, spice powders and sesame seeds.
Method- Heat the oil in a kadhai, add the green chillies and saute till they turn white in colour.
- Remove and keep aside.
- In the same oil, add the cumin seeds, mustard seeds, fenugreek seeds, onion seeds and curry leaves.
- When the seeds crackle, add the paste and saute for a 2 minutes.
- Add the turmeric and coriander-cumin seeds powder and the remaining ingredients and mix well and cook for 10 minutes.
- Serve hot.
