Ingredients
3/4 cup fried masala chana dal , readily available
3/4 cup whole wheat flour (gehun ka atta)
3/4 cup rice flour (chawal ka atta)
2 tbsp ghee
salt to taste
1 tsp black sesame seeds (kala til)
1/4 tsp garlic (lehsun) powder
1 tsp onion powder
water as required
oil for deep frying
chaat masala to sprinkle
Method
    Method
  1. Grind the fried masala chana dal to powder in a mixer.
  2. To this powder add the remaining ingredients and bind medium stiff dough using water.
  3. Make balls of this and roll into a roti of medium thickness.
  4. Cut the roti to strips and deep fry in hot oil till golden.
  5. Sprinkle chaat masala on these strips when hot and serve with tea.
