300 ml lemon juice
1 1/2 kgs sugar
1/3 tsp sodium benzoit
1 tsp lemon essence
1 tsp lemon colour


  1. Before you start preparing squash ,boil bottles on one side of gas
  2. 1. put sugar in vessel ,cover with water ,1” above sugar level
  3. 2. boil on low fire till sugar dissolves
  4. 3. in boiling syrup put citric acid , it will clean sugar syrup ,enhances taste
  5. 4. remove foth dirty sugar
  6. 5. if syrup is sticky ,add lemon juice ,bring to boil on low fire ,check if it is sticky
  7. 6. put off fire ,dissolve sodium benzoit in hot syrup ,mix in squash
  8. 7. add essence , color
  9. 8. bottle ,boiling syrup in boiling bottel ,keep 2” space vacant in bottle so it does not burst
  10. 9. cap bottles tightly
  11. 10. when want to serve ,pour 2-3 table spoon of syrup in glass ,pour chilled water & ice cubes ,serve
