Mango Coconut Halwa recipe - How to make Mango Coconut Halwa

Ingredients
1/2 cup mango pulp
1/2 cup broken wheat (dalia) (pressured cooked in milk for 3-4 whistles)
4 tbsp sugar
3 tbsp cream
2 tbsp desiccated coconut
a pinch of saffron (kesar) strands
2 tbsp chopped cashewnuts (kaju)
2 tbsp raisins (kismis)
pinch cardamon powder
ghee for greasing the muffin moulds
almond (badam) slivers for garnishing
Method
    Method
  1. Heat a non-stick pan, add mango pulp and cook till it bubbles.
  2. Add cooked dalia and sugar and cook till it leaves the sides of the pan.
  3. Add cream and desiccated coconut and mix well and cook for another few minutes.
  4. Lastly add cashewnuts, raisins, saffron, cardamom powder and mix well.
  5. Divide the dalia-mango mixture into equal portions.
  6. Take silicon muffin mould and grease it with a little ghee.
  7. Press a portion of the dalia-mango mixture evenly into the greased mould.
  8. Repeat with the remaining moulds.
  9. Unmould on a serving plate and serve garnished with almond slivers.
