Variation:
substitute 1 cup mango with the following:

1 teaspoon dill or coriander
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon turmeric

and garnish with:
extra paprika and dill if desired.

Ingredients


3 cups low-fat cottage cheese
3 tbsp lemon juice
1 cup finely chopped fresh mango bits
1/4 tsp dry red chilli flakes (paprika)
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
salt to taste

Method

  1. In a blender or food processor, blend all ingredients, except the salt, until smooth. taste, adding salt as necessary.
  2. Transfer to a serving bowl and garnish with extra mango bits.
  3. Chill before serving.
  4. Serve with assorted fruit and vegetable dippers and crackers.
