Ingredients


ingredients:
2 tbsp olive oil
1 medium sized onion (cut lenght -wise)
2 to 3 cloves of garlic (lehsun) (cut length-wise)
1 red capsicum , sliced
3/4 cup tomato puree
1 cup rice (chawal)
2 tsp taco seasoning mix
salt to taste

Taco Powder ingredients:
1 tbsp chilli powder
1/4 tsp garlic (lehsun) powder
1/4 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp crushed dry red chilli flakes (paprika)
1/4 tsp dried oregano
1 1/2 tsp cumin seeds (jeera) powder
1/4 tsp dried mango powder (amchur)
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper (kalimirch) powder

Method


  1. Wash rice. boil the rice in 3 cups water.
  2. each grain of the cooked rice should be separate. drain and cool.
  3. In a kadai heat olive oil
  4. Add onions. let it cook for 5-10 minutes.
  5. Add garlic. stir once-twice.
  6. Add capsicum. let it cook for 5 minutes.
  7. Then add puree. let it cook for 10 minutes.
  8. Add cooked and cooled rice.
  9. Add taco powder
  10. Add salt and stir well
  11. In a small bowl mix together ingredients for powders and store in an airtight container
