  1. Combine the oats, wheat bran, walnuts and almonds and lightly roast them in a non-stick pan over a slow flame for 5 to 7 minutes.
  2. Cool completely, add the cornflakes, vanilla essence, raisins and sugar. Mix well and store in an air-tight container.

For serving

  1. Divide the muesli into 4 equal portions and drizzle 1 tsp of honey on each of the portion. Serve it with milk or chopped fruits.

Quick healthy breakfast option for kids and adults also. I carry this as a snack in a zip lock bag whenever i'm out as its healthy and high in complex carbs.

the use of sugar in this dish is less but tit is balanced by the sultanas added and also by the fruit in this recipe
