Ingredients

1 cup quick cooking rolled oats
3 tbsp wheat bran
1/2 cup walnuts (akhrot) , chopped
1/2 cup almonds (badam) , chopped
1/2 cup raisins (kismis)
2 tbsp honey
1/4 tsp vanilla essence

Method
    Method
  1. Heat the honey in a small non-stick pan on a slow flame for 20 seconds. Remove from the flame and keep aside to cool.
  2. Combine the oats and wheat bran and lightly toast them in a non-stick pan over a slow flame for 5 minutes.
  3. Cool completely, add remaining ingredients and mix well.
  4. Store in an air-tight container.

the use of sugar in this dish is less but tit is balanced by the sultanas added and also by the fruit in this recipe
