1 1/2 cups grated mava (khoya)
1 1/2 cups castor sugar
1 cup paneer (cottage cheese) , mashed
3 tbsp almonds (badam) powder
2 tbsp powdered pistachios
1 tbsp ghee

For The Plum Sauce
10 plums
1 tbsp sugar
1 tsp powdered cardamoms
2 tsp dry rose petals

For The Garnish
chocolate vermicelli (seviyan)

  1. Roast the khoya in a pan till light pink in colour.
  2. Add the castor sugar, mix well and add the badam-pista powder and 1/2 tbsp ghee and mix well.
  3. Cool, add the mashed paneer, add remaining castor sugar and mix well.
  4. Add the cardamom powder to this mixture and mix well.
  5. Make rolls out of this mixture and coat it with chocolate vermicelli.
  6. For the plum sauce, pressure cook plums and sugar for 4 whistles, cool and sieve it.
  7. Add the cardamom powder, mix well and boil it for 5-7 minutes or till it becomes thick.
  8. Cool and add the rose petals.
  9. While serving rolls, pour plum sauce on it.
  10. Yummy rolls are ready to serve.
