Oats Chana Herbal Salad recipe - How to make Oats Chana Herbal Salad

For The Salad
1 cup quick cooking rolled oats
1/2 cup cucumber cubes
1/2 cup green chana
1/4 cup roasted chana
1 cup chopped tomatoes

For The Dressing
salt and freshly ground black pepper (kalimirch) to taste
2 tbsp lemon juice
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tsp finely chopped parsley
2 tsp finely chopped mint
1 tsp green chutney
1 tsp honey
cucumber and chopped mint leaves (phudina) to garnish
cabbage leaves to serve

  1. Take a cup of oats in a small bowl and add boiling water just enough to cover them .
  2. Leave it for ten minutes.
  3. After ten minutes, mix oats with remaining salad ingredients.
  4. Combine all the dressing ingredients.
  5. Mix with salad ingredients.
  6. Serve salad in cabbage leaves.
  7. Decorate with Cucumber and pudina leaves.
