  1. Combine all the ingredients in a deep bowl and knead into a soft dough without using water.
  2. Divide the dough into 5 equal portions.
  3. Roll out a portion of the dough into 125 mm (5") diameter circle using a little whole wheat flour for rolling.
  4. Place the roti on a non-stick tava (griddle). Turn over in a few seconds. Cook the other side for a few more seconds.
  5. Lift the roti with a pair of flat tongs and roast over an open flame till brown spots appear on both the sides.
  6. Repeat steps 3 to 5 to make 4 more rotis.
  7. Serve immediately.
