200 gms kulith (horse gram) , soaked and cooked
150 gms chopped spinach (palak)
2 tsp oil
1 tbsp cumin seeds (jeera)
salt to taste
1/4 tsp red chilli powder
2 green chillies , chopped
2 tsp chopped coriander (dhania)

  1. Heat the oil in a kadhai and add the cumin seeds.
  2. When the seeds crackle, add the spinach and green chillies and saute for 3 minutes.
  3. Add the red chilli powder and cook till the water is reduced to half.
  4. Add the horse gram and salt, mix well and cook for 4 to 5 minutes.
  5. Serve hot garnished with coriander. Hot.
