Simple to taste and easy to cook. There are no spices used to help you prevent acidity, however herbs add the necessary taste and flavour.

Ingredients


2 tsp butter
1/2 cup sliced onions
2 1/2 cups potatoes cubes (preferably with the peel on)
1 tsp dried mixed herbs (oregano , thyme)
salt and to taste
2 tbsp grated carrot for the garnish

Method
    Main procedure
  1. Heat the butter in a pressure cooker, add the onions and sauté for a while.
  2. Add the potatoes and sauté for a few more minutes.
  3. Add 4 cups of hot water and pressure cook for 3 whistles. Cool completely.
  4. Put the cooked vegetables in a mixer and blend till smooth.
  5. Add the herbs, 1/4 cup water, salt and pepper and mix well and simmer for another 2 minutes.
  6. Serve hot garnished with carrots.
