30 purple radish pods (mogri) , washed and dried
1 1/2 tsp oil
1/4 tsp asafoetida (hing)
1/2 tsp mustard seeds ( rai / sarson)
salt to taste

  1. Cut each purple mogri into 1" pieces using a sharp knife. Keep aside.
  2. Heat the oil in a broad non-stick pan, add the mustard seeds and asafoetida and sauté on a medium flame for 20 seconds.
  3. Add the mogri and salt, mix well, cover with a lid and cook on a high flame for 40 seconds.
  4. Serve immediately.
