Ingredients


For Quick Cheese Fondue
1 cup cheese spread
1 cup milk
1 tbsp butter
2 tbsp finely chopped onions
1 1/2 tsp cornflour dissolved in 1 tbsp water
salt to taste
1/2 tsp dry red chilli flakes (paprika)

For The Garnish
1/4 tsp dry red chilli flakes (paprika)

    For quick cheese fondue
  1. To make quick cheese fondue, heat the butter in a broad non-stick pan, add the onions and sauté on a medium flame for a few seconds.
  2. Add the milk, cheese spread and cornflour-water mixture, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 3 to 4 minutes, while stirring continuously.
  3. Add the salt and chilli flakes, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 2 minute.
  4. Serve the cheese fondue immediately with toasted bread pieces.

Method To Make Cheese Fondue

  1. To make Quick Cheese Fondue, take a small bowl, put conflour in it.  
  2. Add 1 tbsp of water to the bowl of cornflour.
  3. Mix well. Keep aside.
  4. Heat butter in a non-stick broad pan.
  5. Add onions. Onions would give  nice crunch to the creamy fondue.
  6. Saute on a medium flame for a few seconds.
  7. Add milk. Milk is one of the main component in the recipe.
  8. Add cheese spread to the pan. 
  9. Add the cornflour water mixture. 
  10. Mix well and cook on a medium flame for 3-4 minutes, while the Cheese Fondue stirring continuosly. 
  11. Add salt to taste.
  12. Add chilli flakes, you can adjust the quantity according to your preference of spiciness.
  13. Mix well and cook Cheese Fondue on medium flame for 2 minutes.
  14. Serve Cheese Fondue immediately with toasted bread pieces.
