3 cups cooked Rice
1 cup pomogranate seeds (anardana)
1/2 cup sliced baby corn
3/4 cup finely cut bread slices
1 medium onion , finely chopped
1 tsp finely chopped ginger (adrak)
3/4 tsp finely chopped green chillies
salt to taste
chopped coriander (dhania) leaves for garnishing


  1. Heat about a cup of oil in a kadahi and let it become very hot. take it off the flame and add the bread pieces till they turn golden brown. drain off oil and keep bread pieces aside.
  2. heat oil. add onions and fry till golden brown.
  3. add chopped ginger and green chilli till golden brown.
  4. add finely sliced baby corn and fry a little.
  5. add the cooked rice to the above and stir fry well to mix ingredients. add salt gauging the quantity. ( salt can also be added after step 4)
  6. During serving add the pomegranate seeds, bread slices and coriander leaves
  7. Stir fry once again during serving
