Soyabean Sukha recipe - How to make Soyabean Sukha

250 gms soyabean chunks
1 large sized onion
2 green chillies
1 tomato
1 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
1 tsp chilli powder
1 tbs garam masala
2 tbsp oil
salt to taste
coriander leaves (for garnish)
1 cup water


  1. In a big bowl take water and soak soyabean chunks for 15 minutes. squeeze out all the water and cut the chunks into four pieces.
  2. Take oil in a kadai. when oil is hot, add onions and fry till brown.
  3. Add cut tomatoes and slit green chillies.
  4. Fry for 1 minute.
  5. Add turmeric powder, chilli powder, garam masala powder and salt and stir.
  6. Add 1 cup water and bring to a boil.
  7. Add soyabean chunks and simmer for a few minutes till it absorbs the gravy.
  8. Add coriander leaves as garnish.
