Ingredients


2 cups buttermilk
1 cup semolina (rava)
2 tbsp Green Chutney
2 tbsp oil
1 tsp fruit salt
salt to taste

Method

  1. Mix the rava in buttermilk, add some salt and put aside for 30mins.
  2. Grease the idli tray.
  3. Mix eno in the batter.
  4. Pour half the amount of idli in each mould, put some chutney in the middle, cover with some more batter.
  5. Steam like normal idlis.
  6. Hot, spicy, low cal idlis can be eaten on its own.
  7. P.s.: similarly any other chutney/sauce can be filled in. for e.g. try schezwan sauce, it gives brilliant chinese taste to the idlis
