An innovative tomato pudding recipe which is not appealing in looks and taste but also a better choice, health wise. The tomato pudding has the tomato puree baked with butter, bread and brown sugar as ingredients. A delicious pudding recipe with a crisp topping.
- Add sugar and salt to purée.
- Add water; simmer 5 minutes.
- Add melted butter.
- Place bread in greased casserole; cover with tomato butter.
- Cover, or if extra crispiness is desired, bake uncovered at 350 degrees f for 30 minutes.
