2 tbsp oil
8 to 9 medium sized tomatoes, finely chopped
3 red capsicums
4 to 5 fresh red chillies
2 tsp sugar
1 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
salt to taste


  1. Grind red bell peppers and fresh long red chillies.
  2. Heat oil in a kadai. add tomatoes cover and cook for 5 mins. thenm add haldi, salt, sugar, red chilli pd and the ground paste.. let this cook ..till the water evaporates and the tomatoes become pulp like..if you need to store for a week or so.. add some more oil . and refridgerate. it tastes good with parathas, idlis, dosas and other snacks. very t
