Ingredients


To Be Mixed Into Garlic Paste
2 tbsp finely chopped garlic (lehsun)
5 tbsp butter

For Vegetable Sauce**
1 tbsp butter
1 tbsp plain flour (maida)
1 cup milk
1 cup of finely chopped capsicum
1 cup finely chopped cabbage
1 cup finely chopped onions
1 tsp freshly ground black pepper (kalimirch)
2 cheese cubes , grated
salt to taste
4 ladi pav or any bread

Other Ingredients
butter for cooking

For The Garnish
1 tsp chopped parsley
freshly ground black peppercorns (kalimirch)

For Serving
herbed fusilli in pink sauce

Method
For vegetable white sauce

  1. Heat the butter in a broad non-stick pan, add the plain flour and cook on a slow flame for 1 to 2 minutes, while stirring continuously.
  2. Add the milk, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 3 to 4 minutes, or till the sauce thickens, while stirring continuously.
  3. Add all the vegetables, black pepper, salt and cheese. Mix well.

  1. Cut the ladi pav horizontally.
  2. On each halve evenly spread the garlic paste, then evenly spread some vegetable white sauce over it.
  3. Heat 1 tsp butter on a non-stick tava (griddle), place a pav over it and cover it with a lid. Let it cook for a while. Repeat with the remaing pavs to make more Vegetable Cheezy Garlic Bread.

  1. Place the Vegetable Cheezy Garlic Bread in a plate and sprinkle black pepper powder and parsley on it.
  2. Serve hot with Herbed Fusilli in Pink Sauce
