Ingredients
175 gms cooked penne pasta
1 cup grated mozzrella cheese
1 1/2 cups tomato puree
1 medium sized slice tomato
1 tbsp butter
2 cloves of finely chopped garlic (lehsun)
2 tbsp finely chopped onions
1 tsp brown sugar
1/2 tsp crushed black pepper (kalimirch)
salt to taste
Method
    Method
  1. Heat the butter in a wok.Add and saute garlic and onion until soft and translucent.
  2. Add tomato puree,salt,black pepper and brown sugar. Cook on medium flame with few drops of water until the sauce thickens.
  3. Add the cooked pasta and cook for another 5 minutes on medium heat. Remove from the heat.
  4. Grease an oven proof casserole dish. Spread evenly the cooked pasta mixture into the greased dish.
  5. Spread grated cheese with tomato slices on top and bake in a pre-heated oven at 400 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes or until the cheese melts. Serve hot.
