1 cup roughly chopped bananas
1 cup chilled and roughly chopped apples (unpeeled)
1 cup chilled fresh curds (dahi)
10 ice-cubes
2 1/2 tbsp sugar
1 tsp lemon juice

  1. Combine all the ingredients and blend in a juicer till the mixture is smooth and frothy.
  2. Pour equal quantities of the smoothie into 4 individual glasses.
  3. Serve immediately.

banana and apple are a great combination for this smoothie and the curds add good protein and good fat. i dropped the sugar and added some organic honey to make it a healthier smoothie.

I did not like it at all.Overall taste was not too good.Made exactly as stated.The tanginess in smoothie is not a good idea for me.Tanginess taste stayed in mouth for more than 3 hours.Felt puki after consuming:-(

   Thank you for your honest feedback. This smoothie has 2 fruits that have a prominent taste, Make sure you use curds that are not very sour, you can also skip the lemon juice if you wish to. Do try it again with fresh curds and give us your feedback. Till then Happy Cooking !!

Banana and apple combined in a smoothie with a tinge of lemon juice to balance the not make this drink too much in advance as banana tend to turn black quickly and might decrease the flavour and eye appeal of the drink.
