Ingredients


To Be Combined Together For The Dressing
1/2 cup fresh hung curds (chakka dahi)
1 tbsp milk
1/2 tsp powdered sugar
1/4 tsp mustard (rai / sarson) paste , readily available in the market
salt to taste

Other Ingredients
2 cups finely shredded cabbage
3/4 cup sliced grapes
1/4 cup grated carrot
1/2 tsp finely chopped celery (ajmoda)
salt to taste

    Method
  1. Immerse the cabbage in ice-cold water for 10 minutes and drain well. This will make them crisp.
  2. Combine all the ingredients, including the cabbage, in a bowl and mix well.
  3. Add the dressing, toss well and refrigerate for at least an hour.
  4. Serve chilled.
