Along with other phytonutrients from onions, it helps to build WBC (white blood cells) which serves as a line of defence against illness. Yes, it’s a source of many antioxidants, the most important one amongst them being Quercetin. The quercetin which promotes production of HDL (good cholesterol) and lowers total cholesterol in the body. The sulphur in onions act as a blood thinner and prevents blood clotting too. Brown Bread : Brown bread is healthier than white bread and should be consumed in limited quantity by those with diabetes, heart and weight loss issues. It's all relative. If you want to live a very healthy life, then you are better off skipping bread.

Processed Cheese : Switch from processed cheese to block cheese as that is healthy. 

Can diabetics, heart patients and over weight individuals have Masala Cheese Toast ?

We would not recommend this recipe as there are potatoes, brown bread and processed cheese used which all work against healthy living. Although brown bread is far healthier than white bread, it should be eaten in limited quantity. 

What is a healthy toast option to have?

We suggest you try homemade almond bread made without eggs and toast it. A good option is toasted almond bread with avocado which is a perfect gluten free breakfast option.  Whole wheat bread is better choice than white bread made from refined plain flour to make toast like mixed sprouts open toast, oats moong toastcottage cheese tomato and chutney sandwich or creamy alfalfa sprouts and apple on toast.
