  1. Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and knead into a soft dough using enough water.
  2. Divide the dough into 8 equal portions and roll out each portion into a 75 mm. (3") diameter circle, using a little jowar flour.
  3. Heat a non-stick tava (griddle) and cook the roti, using ¼ tsp of oil, till brown spots appear on both the sides.
  4. Repeat with the remaining portions to make 7 more rotis.
  5. Serve hot with fresh low-fat curds.

  3. Add 1/4 cup chopped coriander (dhania).
  4. Add 1/4 cup grated cauliflower.
  5. Add 2 tsp finely chopped green chillies.
  6. Add salt.
  7. Add enough water to make a dough.
  8. Divide the dough into 8 equal portions.

It's yum. Jowar as the base with cauliflower and methi spiced with green chillies forms a healthy roti.
