Cheesy Corn Pattice recipe - How to make Cheesy Corn Pattice

2 no.s boiled and grated medium sized potatoes
1 cup boiled and coarsely crushed corn (makai ke dane)
1/4 cup roasted and coarsely crushed peanuts
2 tbsp roasted and crushed sesame seeds (til)
50 g grated paneer (cottage cheese)
1/2 cup chopped coriander (dhania)
4 no.s chopped green chillies
1/2 tsp garam masala
1 tsp grated ginger (adrak)
1 tsp dried mango powder (amchur)
1/2 tsp chat masala
1 tsp red chilli powder
salt to taste
chopped mint leaves (phudina) leaves
2 tbsp bread crumbs
3 tbsp poppy seeds (khus-khus)
1/2 cup grated processed cheese
oil for shallow frying

  1. Combine all the above ingredients thoroughly except cheese,oil and poppy seeds.
  2. Now make small tikkis of this mixture and flatten on your palm.
  3. Put 1/2 tsp of the grated cheese and close the pattice from all the sides and seal well.
  4. Repeat the above procedure to make 8 pattice.
  5. Spread poppy seeds on a plate.
  6. Roll these pattice on the poppy seeds.
  7. Shallow fry these tikkis using oil on a hot tawa on medium flame till golden brown.
  8. Serve hot with green chutney.
